How does work affect our quality of life?
Access to a fulfilling, paid job has long been essential to a good quality of life. In recent years, however, changing workplace trends have strained this link between work and improved wellbeing. Our Work & Wellbeing Discussion Paper highlights these key workplace trends and how they are impacting on the quality of life for employees across the UK. We interrogate the different aspects which make for ‘fulfilling work’ and reveal which groups of employees are less likely to experience work which improves wellbeing.
