Andrea Westall is a sustainability strategist, policy advisor and political economist. She is also a senior fellow at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Andrea mixes thought leadership, policy innovation and practical implementation with over 30+ years in executive leadership, board, and advisory roles – integrating sustainability, social justice, governance, long-term thinking, participation, wellbeing and economics at local, national and international levels.
Examples include: trusted advisor to the UK Government; co-author of the UK’s Social Value standard; Commissioner in the independent Commission on Sustainable Equality for the EU Parliament; playing a lead role in establishing the UK’s social enterprise sector; and a founding partner of one of the UK’s first social/impact investment funds.
