A coalition of organisations including the Trust, Which?, Money and Mental Health Policy Institute and the City of London Police have written to the Home Secretary and Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to urge the Government to expand the scope of the Online Safety Bill to include fake and fraudulent content that leads to scams. This would better protect people against the devastating financial and emotional harm caused by these crimes.
