This factsheet is a Welsh translation of our summary of Welsh data on attitudes to and use of public library services. The data was collected by Ipsos Mori on behalf of the Carnegie UK Trust in an omnibus poll carried out in all five jurisdictions covered by the Trust in its work (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland). The polls were conducted over the period June-September 2016 and August-October 2011. 1011 people aged 16 and over were surveyed in 2016 and 1018 people aged over 16 were surveyed in 2011.
The titles in the Shining a Light set of reports are:
- Policy report: outlines the lessons from the data and recommendations for policy makers, decision makers, funders and the sector
- Data booklet: provides the data and big picture headline findings from across all jurisdictions
- Five Country Factsheets: shows how England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are faring
- Secondary Research: a report by Ipsos MORI which compares our findings with existing research
